The HCM Sales Consultant shall be responsible for selling payroll and human resource services in the greater Richmond area for one of the fastest growing, independent payroll companies in the country. The job requires high energy in a fast paced environment.  As a HCM Sales Consultant you will schedule appointments with payroll and executive-level decision makers, conduct live demonstrations of our innovative on-line payroll software, prepare pricing proposals, and close business to meet sales goals. A sales-focused organization, Dominion Payroll Services equips our Sales Consultants with the best tools possible for unlimited opportunities for success.  Payroll sales experience is a plus, but not a requirement.

You will receive a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission. Automobile and cell phone allowances are also paid.

Requirements & Expectations:

  • 2+ years Business-to-Business sales experience required
  • Proven sales track record
  • Detail and follow up oriented
  • Projecting a positive image in representing the Company to clients and the community
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Exemplary communication skills to include written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Superior listening skills
  • Excellent customer service and listening skills
  • Self-starter with ability to meet deadlines in a high stress environment
  • Completing and submitting accurate new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports by agreed-upon dates set by sales management.
  • Prospecting for new clients and new referral sources utilizing the telephone, direct mail, seminars, current client visits, or other local marketing programs as directed by sales management
